I hope everyone had a great weekend. I went to a day crop with my girlfriends in Raleigh. It was nice to get away and gab and even do some crafts. I actually spend the day coloring. Yes, coloring. I took a bunch of embossed stamped images, and my copics and just played. I had the best time! I hope to make some cards out of my colored images which I will share in the future. I was also able to get a couple of new ideas I want to show with everyone, I am looking forward to working on some new things coming up.
Today I wanted to share with you, one of my favorite companies. Erin Condren . I have used the Erin Condren teacher planners for years, LOVE them. I have shown my planner on the blog before (I use it for homeschooling my youngest two). I don't use a day planner .....and I say normally, because I have a FUN idea coming up later this summer to share using a day planner from Erin Condren. I have been using my Erin Condren notebooks and Address Book often. These are two staples in my house. Today I wanted to share my address book with you.
For me, I need an address book. Any time I am sending mail, christmas cards, or invites, I need the address written down for me to look at. I don't like having them on my phone because I have lost some of my phone information before. Having all my addresses in a Address Book just works for me. And the Erin Condren Address books are beautiful.
I have my address book and my pouch shown here, It is big enough to fit the address book and the pack of pens in it. This keeps it protected when I stick it in my work bag. I need to get another case to put my notebook inside. I'll put it on my wish list! ;)
I loved being able to personalize my pouch as well!
The key with any address book for me is that is much open flat. I hate having to write messy because the book doesn't lay flat. The coil binding makes the book lay flat for easy writing. The coils can also be personalized now with a couple of options. I'm not sure when I ordered mine if that option was available or not yet. It's a nice feature. I just ordered some new notebooks and changed the coil color to coordinate!
Now to be fair, I have this book filled with addresses that I need. I had to search through the book to find a sheet that didn't contain personal information to post a picture. Didn't think my friends would want their home addresses all over my blog! I like that each address page has plenty of room to write, especially for those like me, that write big!
Erin Condren books always include "extras". I love this pocket page in the back. This is where I keep my cards that I am mailing out this week. (and to be fair again, I took the envelopes out to take the picture- there were only two this week ....I guess I could have had them peeking out so you couldn't see the addresses.....hmmmm, oh well. This is a great spot to put stuff in your address book.
There is also a zippered pouch in my address book. They often change things around on the planners or notebooks but I've found that this pocket is normally included. If not, I'm sure you can add it on. It's a great place for address labels or stamps. I normally take my address book to my office and mail from my office so I don't carry those supplies with me but if I did, this would be the perfect spot.
There are tons of add ons, extra accessories. I didn't show those this time because I don't use any of those in my address book. I'll try and show those when I do a post on my notebooks in the future and how I use those!
